E17 Designers has been around since 2006, here are some nice things that people say who started with us...

Being a member of E17 Designers has been a real help in starting and growing my business. I had literally no experience of running a business and it offered a way of trying things out within a supportive framework. I got to have access to social media exposure, shared ideas and contacts with other small businesses and got to trade within a small craft market settingat E17 Designers popular local fairs. This meant I was also able to meet and chat with lots of customers and build strong local networks.

E17 Designers has been a great way to establish a loyal and local customer base as well as meeting wonderful local makers.'

E17 Designers Craft Fair at the Vestry House Museum

Saturday 12 March 2016

11 – 4pm

Vestry House Museum

Vestry Rd

Walthamstow

London E17 9NH

£1 donation on the door, supporting Vestry House Museum

‘Travel back to the 1940’s with a fabulous selection of local designer-makers, themed craft activities, a pop up tea shop serving seasonal local cakes from Crumbs Biscuits and Cakes. Be entertained by DJ Auntie Maureen playing her special collection of nostalgic sounds, all against the backdrop of the Museum’s atmospheric displays’

Come and see E17 Designers’ in their tenth year of making and selling in E17, in one of the venues they first used (and a favourite one), the Vestry House Museum in Walthamstow Village.  E17 Designers will have a great selection of handmade gifts for sale: buy decorative and functional ceramics from Useful Pots and Yanire Silva, amazing silver and gold jewellery from Flowerie88, Fused & Fired and Malcolm Morris (top sellers at the recent E17 Designer’s Christmas shop!), vintage inspired beaded trinkets from Suzy’s Beads and Twinkle London. Fancy something crafty, that can be given as a gift or used every day? Try Fancy Em for cushions, Hilda Rocket for ‘Liberty’ print and felt accessories, Craftee Fox and Mika Bon Bon for printed textile bags and purses, Sue O’Hea for silk specialities and popular maker, Lovell, with her soy candles and soaps. Fashion lovers can buy new coats in bold block colours and easy to wear Spring tops and dresses from designer-makers D4Discus and GLOW London, who both design clothes inspired by earlier era’s, and use combinations of new and vintage fabrics.

Make time for activities from The Stow Roses (Walthamstow's Women’s Institute) who will be showing off their lovely handmade quilt and, for a donation, will be offering corsage making to those who stop by: raffle tickets will be on sale, helping to raise money for the Whipps Cross Neonatal Unit.
