Louise Weir

Louise Weir is an artist, illustrator and lecturer on the Illustration course at Middlesex University. She has been working within the Illustration industry for over twenty years with a wide range of experience across Design, Advertising, Publishing and Editorial from The Royal Mail to The Guardian.  Regularly exhibiting in the UK and Europe, her recent solo exhibition ” Expectations of the Past” (supported by Arts Council funding) toured the UK, culminating at The Dickens Museum, London. This investigative journey of memory, identity and loss was informed by her own poetry and Dickens’ novel “Great Expectations” which examines similar themes. The dialogue between past and present is reflected in Louise’s methodology, which brings together a breadth of traditional and digital processes.  Louise will be selling  limited edition prints, books and cards at the Bookish Art Market 2019
